Quick Answers

All engagements are fixed-fee, quoted upfront before work begins. Pricing depends on the scope of the engagement, the complexity of the business, and data availability. There are no hourly rates and no surprises. Start a conversation to receive a quote.

Typically: 3–5 years of tax returns, financial statements, a current aged receivables/payables report, details on owner compensation and benefits, and any relevant legal agreements. We provide a detailed, tailored document request list at engagement kickoff.

For most internal, planning, and transactional purposes — yes. If your situation involves high-stakes transactions, M&A due diligence, or complex ownership structures that require a formal conclusion of value, we can refer you to a trusted colleague offering comprehensive valuation services. We'll help you determine the right scope. Contact us to discuss the right scope for your situation.

A Calculation of Value typically takes 2–3 weeks from receipt of complete data. Annual Updates take 1–2 weeks. Timelines can vary depending on business complexity and how quickly documents are provided.

Reports are delivered in English. Service is conducted bilingually — scoping calls, document requests, management interviews, and the analyst walkthrough all happen in English or Spanish, whichever your client prefers. English delivery keeps the report consistent with the NACVA standards and comparable-transaction sources it relies on, and is the form lenders, attorneys, and counterparties expect.

All engagements follow NACVA Professional Standards, consistent with AICPA SSVS-1 and USPAP. These standards define the scope, methodology, documentation, and reporting requirements for every engagement.
