When a big decision about your business comes, it helps to know what it is worth before talking price. Every situation is different.

What a valuation tells you

A valuation is an analysis of what your business is worth, based on its numbers and its situation.

The result is the value of your business as of a date, based on the information you give AXIS. You can use it as a basis for planning and making decisions.

The report may be used only for the purpose stated in the engagement letter.

Which of the two services fits you?

AXIS offers two services. Both give you a value for your business. The difference is who chooses the methods and how complete the work is.

Each valuation is prepared by an AXIS valuation analyst in Puerto Rico.

It can help you get a clear idea of what your business is worth before negotiating or making a decision. A calculation of value is a focused analysis. Before starting, you and AXIS agree on how the value will be calculated and which steps will be followed. AXIS follows only those steps. A calculation of value is not an opinion of value.

Valor formal

Conclusion of value

A conclusion of value is a more complete analysis. AXIS decides which methods to use to value your business, using its professional judgment. It is for when you need a more formal value.

Starting at $2,000

The flat fee covers 14 hours of work. Additional hours are billed only with your written approval ($125/hour, with a report of the hours).

The flat fee covers 32 hours of work. Additional hours are billed only with your written approval ($125/hour, with a report of the hours).

The final fee may vary depending on the scope of the work.

How it works

  1. Inquiry and engagement letter. You tell AXIS about your business and what you need the value for, by WhatsApp, email or the form. AXIS tells you which service applies, which documents are needed, what the work includes and what it costs. If you decide to go ahead, you sign an engagement letter: the written agreement between you and AXIS about the work. The letter is in English. Before signing, you can ask AXIS your questions by WhatsApp, email or the form. Your inquiry is confidential. The flat fee is paid as a retainer at signing, and AXIS begins work when it is received.
  2. Information and analysis. You send AXIS the agreed information and documents. AXIS reviews them and does the analysis.
  3. Report. You receive a written report in English, with a short summary in Spanish.

Before the engagement letter is signed, AXIS confirms the scope of the work. An inquiry is not an engagement.
